What is your Cancellation Policy?


Cancellations need to be notified in writing to help@brisbaby.com immediately. If payment has been made for the booking and the customer wishes to cancel their order with more than 24 hours’ notice, all monies will be refunded within 7 business days back to the same account the money was paid from. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the hiree can choose to be in credit for a future hire, or choose a refund where the bond of $50 will be forfeited and the hire fees refunded within 7 business days. If the order has been collected and signed for and cancellation is required, the hiree will be refunded for the period not hired, minimum charge is the value of the minimum hire term for that particular item plus mobile service fees if applicable.




What Covid-19 Measures are in Place?


  • We are committed to keeping our families safe from Covid-19. All precautions, safety measures, meticulous cleaning for EVERY hire and care are taken by Brisbane Baby to prevent the spread of infection.
  • To minimise risk we are unable to deliver to Quarantine Accommodation, known hotspots or car hire located at the International Airport Terminal.
  • When we install into your vehicle, we use hand sanitiser before and after installation. Fabric sanitiser spray is offered and available for use for your peace of mind.




What CONDITION is the hire equipment in?  Is it SAFE & CLEAN?


  • Brisbane Baby hire equipment is freshly cleaned, sanitised and safety checked for EVERY HIRE
  • Our equipment is kept in as-new condition so you can be happy to use it and Brisbane Baby can be proud to have our label on it.
  • Even if in perfect condition our equipment is retired after 5 years in accordance with safe trade practice.
  • All of our hire equipment is sourced in Australia and meets minimum Australian Safety Standards or higher.




Can I EXTEND My Hire?


  • Yes! It is advisable any extensions of hire are requested in writing to help@brisbaby.com with as much notice as possible.
  • Extensions are granted if you have given notice prior to the item being re-booked. It is best to hire for the longest required term and if you return early, you receive a refund of the cost between the 2 hire periods.
  • We don't begin another hire period! We simply extend your current hire to the appropriate hire term. You ONLY PAY the DIFFERENCE between the hire period you have paid for, and the hire period you need to extend to.




Why pay Brisbane Baby to install our Car Seat?


  • Toni is the owner and operator of Brisbane Baby Hire & Install. As a Qualified Restraint Fitter, was initially trained in 2009 and accredited by ACRI. In 2015 was trained and accredited by Kidsafe with ongoing refresher courses.
  • Kyle is our Assistant, trained and competent since 2015.
  • Brisbane Baby takes the time at the installation to demonstrate how to safely use the restraint going forward and when/how to adjust harness height as baby grows. Other family members who will need to know this information are encouraged to be present.
  • YES, we can move your other seat over to make way for the baby seat. It's just another installation fee to cover our time, effort and expertise.
  • You are welcome to bring your pram and adaptors if needed at capsule installations so we can show you how to use these also.
  • Baby Shop installers where you purchase your car seat are trained, yes, but with high staff turnover, can possibly lack experience and know-how.




Can I take my Hired Equipment out of Brisbane or on a Plane?


  • It is a condition of hire that NO equipment is to be taken out of the Brisbane area or on a plane.
  • This creates a high risk of loss and damage which the small bond does not cover, and is a stipulation of our Insurance provider.
  • Loss/Damage would legally require full replacement cost to be covered by you, the Hirer.
  • If this is your intention I respectfully ask you to use another hire company.




Is it OK to order online for the next day?


Probably best to check by phone or email first as the next day's appointments may already be full. Especially orders placed on weekends for Monday - please check by email or sms first. Phones are not answered on Sundays.
